Sushant Singh Rajput‘s sudden demise has brought the topic of nepotism back to the table and social media is raging on by debating about it. It has gone to the extent that star kids are receiving so much hate online that many are losing followers and have been receiving hate comments and trolls. In light of this, Sushant’s brother-in-law, Vishal Kirti launched a platform called Nepometer that measures how nepotistic a film is.

The app reportedly measures a film by scanning five categories namely leading actors, supporting actors, director, writer, and producer. The app also has a Twitter handle. Before launching the app, Sushant‘s family members took to Instagram to introduce the app. In a long note, they expressed their concern that the outrage around Sushant’s death may fade away soon and how it has also exposed the dark side of Bollywood. The goal they said through the app is to give a percentage-wise result as to how nepotistic or independent upcoming movies are you remind you to watch more independent movies. The app is already functional and will start rating movies very soon.
