Now that film shootings are slowly starting to resume, filmmaker Ayan Mukerji has decided to kickstart work again for his highly anticipated film, Brahmastra. Ayan had only 26 days of shoot left when the lockdown played havoc with the plan. Now, according to a report by MidDay, the director who is gearing up again for the fantasy-drama, has decided to shoot at Film City in Mumbai in two shifts of five hours each.

Talking to the publication, the trade source revealed—

If the crisis is relatively under control, and things go as planned, the film will go back on floors in October. Ayan has broken down the shoot into two shifts — 9 am to 2 pm, followed by another from 4 pm to 9 pm. There will be two separate minimal crews for the stints, with each unit adhering to on-set safety guidelines. Since producer Karan Johar is eyeing a June 2021 release, Ayan wants to wrap up the shoot latest by December.

According to the source, Ayan plans on building two sets including one with a chrome screen in Goregaon.

Produced by Karan Johar, Brahmastra will feature Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy,  Akkineni Nagarjuna in pivotal roles. The film will be made in a trilogy.

Well, I am super excited about this one and cannot wait for it to hit the screens. What about you guys?
