The shoots of a lot of television shows began last month, after the lockdown restrictions slowly started relaxing. Ekta Kapoor‘s much loved show, Kasautii Zindagi Kay also started its shoot. But, following actor Parth Samthaan and a few crew members testing positive for the virus, the shoot had halted for a few days.
Now, after the precautionary break, the shoot is back on track with all the necessary protocols in place. Karan Patel, who is playing Mr. Bajaj on the show and Pooja Bannerjee started shoot last Friday. But, the leading lady of the show, Erica Fernandes, is still not ready to start shoot. After one of her staff tested positive, Aamna Sharif a.k.a Komolika on the show, has also taken a break from set. So the two ladies have actually been shooting for the show from home!
Erica already has a YouTube channel and knows her ropes with the camera. So, though she has that knowledge, the whole experience sure has been new to her. Speaking to Mumbai Mirror, she says while all the technical knowledge she has because her YouTube channel is coming in handy now, her only challenge is not having her co-actor next to her and having to imagine how they would react.
Speaking about how they are shooting, Erica informs that they have done a good job so far. She says that she is on a 12 hour shift and is constantly on call with her DoP, director and creative person who guide her and give her cues.
She is also all praises for producer Ekta Kapoor, and says that it would have been easy to replace her but she is glad they are trying to accommodate and being considerate about the situation.
