The pandemic may have rained on all of our parades but nothing can dim the light of Indian festivals. Indians across the world celebrated Rakshabandhansome virtually and some in real life who were fortunate enough to be with their families. And thanks to our shutterbugs that gave us a glimpse of how Bollywood celebrities are going about the festivities because we can now ogle at their outfits—something that’s been limited in today’s day and age. Latest to be spotted is Kangana Ranaut who was seen celebrating the much-awaited festival with her family in Manali. The actor’s outfit for the occasion was an Indo-western look that came with beautiful Uzbeki embroidery and featured a variety of colours. Scroll ahead to check out her ensemble!

Here’s how Kangana Ranaut accessorised her outfit for Rakshabandhan:

Bright and statement-making was the actor’s style mantra for the day. She ensured this by picking an Uzbeki Ikat kurta from Saundh which mixed multiple prints and hues. Featuring a round neck, the bust of the kurta came in an Ikat design and a squared panel of colourful Uzbeki embroidery. An abstract print in diamond-like shapes was spread evenly on the flowy silhouette from the waist below. The hemline of the kurta was designed with a thick, black border with intertwined red lines and multicoloured tassels attached to the hemline added a playful touch to the look. She teamed her A-line kurta with a pair of black cigarette pants making the outfit an Indo-western one. A black dupatta draped around the shoulders completed her OOTD.

Even at home, Kangana did not fail to accessorise for the occasion in her sartorial best! An oxidised Polki choker served as her neckpiece and pointed-toe boots as her footwear. Taking inspiration from Frida Kahlo, Kangana tied her hair in a bun adorning her hair with multi-hued flowers.
