Every week we list out the most interesting virtual gigs taking place! Why so? Because there’s not much we can do during this lockdown since going out is not quite safe. But that does not mean we cannot have fun! While we’ve also resorted to cooking, painting, baking, and revisiting our hobbies, virtual events are now booming. They let us have experiences that are not quite possible physically amid the pandemic. And one such experience is going to concerts!

Of course, hosting a concert means a party for the virus. It is extremely risky to have a large number of people in such close proximity to each other. And so, virtual events are what the world is switching to! If you’re also looking for fun music gigs to attend virtually this week then we’ve got some recommendations for you. Scroll down to check them out!

1. Twenty Twenty Fridays Vol4 Ft Swadesi & Zake

When: 14th August, 9 pm

This cool event will have Swadesi live streaming from the studio and Zake creating live digital art through the stream. Swadesi is a group of rappers who are socially conscious and create verses that mirror society. They broke into Bollywood with their ‘India 91’ track that was in collab with other Indian rappers in ‘Gully Boy‘.

Zake is a pioneer of the Graffiti scene in India and a legend among his contemporaries. Owing to his training in commercial arts, he’s imprinted his art onto Mumbai’s busy streets and commercial spaces. He’s represented India at the world’s biggest Graffiti festival in Brazil.
