Ever since the shooting for India’s Best Dancer resumed, Malaika Arora, who is the judge on the reality show has been serving show-stealing looks one after the other. The actor has channelled her love for OTT cocktail gowns time and again. Precisely ones that come decorated with excessive embellishments. Yesterday, she was spotted on the sets of the reality show for a new episode in another noteworthy look. For the occasion, Arora picked a monochromatic dress made by Yousef Al Jasmi that featured a dramatic, asymmetrical hemline and was infused with the designer’s signature crystal work. Styled by Maneka Harisinghani, Malaika’s dress was cut in an interesting silhouette, with a floor-sweeping, asymmetrical hemline giving a peek at the actor’s toned legs. The dress came in a halter neck and was encrusted with uncut black crystals. Adding some more drama to the dress were the tasselled beads in silver forming a gradient-like effect. The extravagant dress crafted by the Kuwaiti designer beautifully accentuated the actor’s curves.
You’d think a dress with an overdose of crystals, beads and tassels would look distasteful, especially during the day, but leave it to Arora to carry it with utmost ease and elegance.
To not take the attention away from the outfit, Malaika went minimal with her accessories. Her picks: a pair of slinky, diamond earrings. A pair of matte black pumps rounded off her outfit for the evening.
In the beauty department, the actor sported black, smokey eyes, blushed cheeks and muted red lips. With her hair pulled back in a sleep ponytail, Malaika flaunted her sharp jawline.
