Arjun Kapoor and Rakulpreet Singh‘s upcoming, untitled cross-border love story, has been in the news for a while now. The latest news was that John Abraham and Aditi Rao Hydari are going to come together to play a special role in the film. The film was also in the news for resuming shoot at Film City studios, with Neena Gupta and Kanwaljit Singh also joining them on sets.
Now, the makers of the film have released their first look picture, and it looks super interesting! John and Aditi is set to play John’s love interest in the film. Her character portrays the younger version of Neena Gupta’s character, also the grandmother to Arjun Kapoor’s character.

Mumbai Mirror quotes Aditi, who shares that she and John play a couple whose love story remains ‘unfinished and unrequited’ until Arjun’s character decides to bring them closure.
John, who is also the producer of the film, tells the publication that when the director, Kashvie Nair, suggested that he play the role, he couldn’t refuse. He will be playing the role of a sardar during the Partition for the first time in this film.
Nikkhil Advani, who is the co-producer, adds that this is a film about realising what true love is through the story of an old woman who has been yearning for closure in her love story for 70 years.
