Ekta Kapoor is the queen of the most popular supernatural shows on TV, in fact, of most popular shows on TV whether supernatural or not. The TV mogul who recently launched the fifth season of Naagin amidst much social media fanfare. Now, if reports are to be believed, Ekta is looking to launch the second season of another supernatural show of hers called Brahmarakshas.
Now according to reports in Telly Chakkar, Krystal D’Souza who played the lead in the first season of the show may also feature in the second season as well. But this time around, she will be seen in a cameo. It further suggests that Krystle might be a part of the first two episodes and will eventually welcome the female lead who will take season 2 forward. The new season of the show will most likely get launched on 19th October 2020.
Another report from the same website suggested that Tejasswi Prakash and Niyati Fatnani were also in talks for the role of the lead in the second season. For those who are unaware, the show is loosely based on Bollywood film Jaani Dushman and the western fairy tale Beauty and The Beast.
The first season saw Krystle, Ahem Sharma, and Parag Tyagi in lead roles. Krystle was last seen in ALT Balaji‘s web series Fittrat alongside Aditya Seal and Anushka Ranjan.
