The unfortunate death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput in June this year had shocked the entire country. it has also raised a lot of questions and stirred up debates and controversies in these months. Currently, the CBI and the NCB are investigating the death and have arrested his former girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty, and many others in an alleged drug angle to the case. Speaking about the entire happenings in relation to Sushant, actor Manoj Bajpayee said that it seems like in all this chaos, they have forgotten to celebrate the person Sushant was.

Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, the veteran actor said that TRP has become the focus and that everyone has their own vested interests. He says he doesn’t watch television and that whatever he sees and hears is through social media.

Speaking about the current scenario, he says:

Whatever is happening, I doubt anyone is mourning him. Because every hour, the topic of debate is changing. And it’s sad, it’s very sad, whatever I have seen in the last couple of months. Right now, no matter what I say, my words will be interpreted as something else. There are so many vested interests, everyone will take my statement however they want. So where is Sushant in all this? I still cannot believe that he is not there anymore. The heartbreak me, Shekhar Kapoor, his family have felt, we still cannot believe it. Whatever is happening is pathetic. I think we have all left Sushant behind in all this.

The actor worked with Sushant in Abhishek Chaubey‘s, Sonchiriya, just last year where the both played dacoits.
