In a surprising twist to the elimination round in Monday’s episode, the Bigg Boss 14 house saw two evictions. Kavita Kaushik and Nishant Singh Malkani were the ones to bid goodbye to the show.
Nishant was nominated by the house members in the green zone while Kavita was voted out as she received the least number of votes from the audiences.
Bigg Boss announced that if the same contestant gets nominated both by the contestants and the audiences, then only that one person needs to leave the house. But if the both nominate different people, then two contestants will have to leave. And as it happened, we saw two names come up in the episode and both Kavita and Nishant walked out of the house.
Apart from Nishant and Kavita, Rubina Dilaik and Jasmin Bhasin were also in the red zone. Contestants in the green zone were asked to nominate one person and explain why they need to be evicted. Seven out of the eight green zone contestants named Nishant, while only Naina Singh voted for Kavita.
As for Kavita, she entered the house as a wild card contestant only last week. And in the past week, she was slammed by Salman Khan, the audiences and contestants alike for her demeaning statements against co-contestant, Eijaz Khan. Read more about it here.
