Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan are currently busy with the promotions of their upcoming feature, Coolie No. 1. Slated to release on Christmas this year, the movie is a modern remake of the same name movie from 1995 that starred Govinda. The film is definitely one that’s much-awaited for its iconic storyline and the fresh duo that we’ll get to see on-screen—Sara and Varun. Given that it’s a remake of such an iconic film, the actors have been carefully curating their promotional outfits, ensuring that they channel just the vibe they should. While Varun is giving quirky prints and loud colours a front seat, Sara is oscillating between a girl-next-door aesthetic to street-style looks. The actor is giving statement colours a centre stage in his outfits; from cobalt blue to mustard yellow, the palette is as vibrant as it gets. He started off the promotions with a pink shirt featuring a bandhani-like print and teamed it with grey jeans. For his next two appearances, Varun gave the monochrome trend a try. All-white outfits layered with bright-coloured jackets. His latest look was a lovely mix of colours and prints. His favourite, the half-sleeved shirt came with an abstract print over a light brown canvas. He teamed it with a pair of burgundy-hued pants and opted for his go-to footwear style—ankle-length shoes.
The Simmba star kickstarted the promotions in a fuchsia pink, Flor et.al jumpsuit. Read more about it here. Her next outfit was a breezy denim dress that came with a quirky detail. From the waist below, the denim dress featured white panels adding an artsy touch to her look. The actor accessorised her outfit with thunderstorm-shaped earrings and white heels. For her next outing, Sara leaned towards a more ’90s street-style vibe. Her picks: a strappy camisole that she layered with a peach-coloured shirt leaving the buttons open and knotting it up instead. A mini denim skirt featuring Powerpuff Girls motifs completed her look along with glittery flip-flops from Melissa. For look number 3, Sara donned a balmy, blue maxi that came with an interesting play of prints. Browse through her looks below!
