Sequels to your favourite movies are somethings you may either love or hate. There’s no in-between. But, that’s never stopped Bollywood from making sequels after sequels and many have even become successful. And another one that has been in the making for three years and has created quite a buzz is Aankhein 2. The film has gone through various changes just in casting. The initial plan was to make it with Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, and others. But later there was news about Saif Ali Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez being cast as leads. Then, the film went to Big B and Kartik Aaryan. But nothing seemed to work out.
Now the latest buzz according to a report in Bollywood Hungama has it that the film has gone to Sidharth Malhotra. While Sr. Bachchan has already said yes to the project, it remains to be seen if he will be playing the main villain or the protagonist. But reports suggest that Sidharth will play a blind man. The new movie will have the same essence as the previous one but will be a completely original script.
The movie was delayed due to the legal issues it got involved in. The producers planned to pay Gaurang Doshi a certain sum and go ahead without him. This will be the first time we see Sidharth with the legendary Mr. Bachchan. This should be an exciting film to watch out for. Don’t you think?
