Saif Ali Khan is no doubt one of the busiest actors right now with some amazing projects in the pipeline. He has Tandav that is releasing soon and is working on Adipurush and Bhoot Police.

In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Saif spoke about how it was all this work that pulled him out of the ‘mental and professional ditch’ that he was in.

He says:

Honestly, I believe I have worked very hard. I was in a bit of a ditch, mentally and professionally. I managed to get out of that. It is like climbing a mountain. I feel like I am on base camp 1 and we have made progress but there is a long way to go. The ropes are set, the boots are tied, and we have got our sights on the hill and we are climbing. There is a really nice line up. I am super excited for Bhoot Police which is finally 80% complete, and it’s a dream role for me. We really had a good time doing that.

He goes on to add that wherever he is in his professional life right now is nice, but that it hasn’t been particularly easy reaching here. He says that he has to thank the people who supported him throughout and got him out of his lull.

The Sacred Games actor adds:

The work has been fab, a lot of people have been super supportive and it’s nice. Because it is the only thing that has gotten me out of that feeling. Just by working hard and choosing the right scripts. People have also supported me by offering me those parts.

Well, we really are glad for him to be doing such amazing work and entertaining us with some great stories and characters.

Saif is set to play a politician in his upcoming web series, Tandav, which is releasing on 15th January on Amazon Prime Video. He also shot for the first schedule of his horror-comedy Bhoot Police in Dalhousie and Dharamshala recently alongside Arjun Kapoor, Yami Gautam and Jacqueline Fernandez. He also has the big-budget Prabhas starrer, Adipurush, directed by Om Raut where he plays the antagonist Lankesh moulded after the demon Raavan.

With such an interesting line up, he sure is one actor who I am super excited to see on-screen soon!
