Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli‘s baby was one that all of us were eagerly waiting for this year. Just now, Virat took to his Instagram to share the good news with us all that the couple are now parents to a lovely baby girl!
The Indian cricket captain thanked everyone for their love, prayers and blessings and informed that wife Anushka and their new-born daughter are doing absolutely fine and are healthy. He shares that both he and Anushka are feeling beyond blessed to start this new journey of parenthood. He also took this as an opportunity to request everyone around to respect their privacy during this time as it’s a very personal moment for them and their family.
A PeepingMoon exclusive also reveals that a source close to the couple informed that Virat and Anushka have named their daughter Anvi. While the couple haven’t announced the name of their child yet, Anvi — which is Anushka and Virat’s name put together — does seem like a sweet name and we’re waiting for the parents themselves to reveal the baby girl’s name soon!
