Yesterday sure was an exciting day as one of our favourite couples Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli became parents to a lovely baby girl! The couple welcomed their first child on January 11th and were showered with blessings and congratulatory messages from all their friends, colleagues and fans!
Their families are also equally excited about welcoming an angel into their home and took to their social media to express their joy. Vikas Kohli, Virat’s brother, shared a picture of the baby’s feet resting on a white cloth along with a “Welcome” GIF. He wrote in his caption, “Happiness overboard… angel in the house.”

This is the first picture of the baby that has been shared by the family. The proud father, Virat, only took to his social media to share the good news of the birth of his daughter with everyone along with a simple note. He even requested everyone to respect their privacy at this time. The couple had also previously spoken about how they don’t want to expose their child on social media.
Right after the baby’s birth, news also was that Virat and Anushka are naming their child Anvi after their own names. But it is not confirmed, and we are waiting for the parents and their family to announce the name of their angel very soon!
