Ranbir Kapoor‘s upcoming film, Animal, is one film that everyone’s excited to see him in. Directed by Kabir Singh director, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the makers revealed the title and an audio teaser on January 1st, 2021 and revealed the cast of the film.
Animal is reportedly set to be a gangster drama that dwells on the complex relationships between the many characters and how it affects the protagonist (Ranbir). It is said to be a story rooted in emotions, vengeance and darkness. According to a report in Pinkvilla, a source shares that the film is set to star Parineeti Chopra, who will play his wife. Anil Kapoor will play his father, who will be a reigning businessman. Other reports also suggest that Bobby Deol is going to be playing the antagonist in the film.
This is the first time we’ll see Ranbir pair up with Parineeti and it seems like it’s going to be intense given the premise of the film. The source also shares that the makers want to take the film on floors by June this year, depending on Ranbir and the rest of the cast’s availability.
