Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal‘s marriage was all everyone was talking about over the weekend, amirite? Though a lot of their friends couldn’t attend the wedding in Alibaug, they made sure to send their love through social media. One such friend was celebrity photographer Rohan Shreshta, who congratulated the couple saying Varun was a lucky man. Varun replied to it saying he is indeed lucky, and said “Hope you are ready”.
This sparked a lot of rumours about Rohan’s rumoured relationship with Shraddha Kapoor. Though the both of them have never publicly accepted to being in a relationship, they have been close friends since their childhood. Now, reacting to these sudden rumours about his daughter’s relationship and wedding plans, Shakti Kapoor recently said that he will support his daughter in any decision she takes.
Speaking exclusively to Times Of India, Shakti Kapoor said, “Well, I don’t know what reports and speculations are surfacing on the Internet. But I shall always stand by my daughter.” He also went on to add, “Why only Rohan Shrestha? If she comes and tells me whoever she has chosen and wants to settle down with, I will not have any objection.”
The senior actor shares that their family and the Shreshtas have been family friends and that Rohan is a “very nice boy” who has been visiting their house since childhood. He adds that his daughter hasn’t told him that she plans to marry Rohan and that to him, they are just childhood friends.
Shraddha has previously said that she has time only to focus on her work now and has no plans of marriage. She is currently working on Luv Ranjan’s next opposite Ranbir Kapoor. The film also stars Boney Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia and went on floors this January.
