In the new year, Deepika Padukone decided to give her Instagram a fresh start as she deleted all her previous posts. Now, she is posting some lovely, new memories and moments from her life and we are all for it!
Just today, she posted a sweet picture with her younger sister, Anisha Padukone, wishing her on her birthday. The Padmaavat actress shared a picture of her donning a silk saree while Anisha wore an ethnic suit. They are all smiles as they take a selfie together. DP also shared a lovely note along with it, calling Anisha her ‘little one’ and her ‘anchor’.
In her note, Deepika wrote:
2.2.2021. Thank You for being the anchor in my life and for keeping me grounded yet always knowing when to keep me afloat. Happy Born Day ‘My Little One’! May you always be blessed with good health, peace of mind and prosperity in abundance…I love you!

And the Instagram post isn’t all the celebration. The actress decided to celebrate with Anisha in person and was recently spotted at the Mumbai airport as she left for Bangalore to be with her family.
On the work front, DP just wrapped shooting for Shakun Batra‘s next alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday and Dhairya Karwa. She also shot for a few portions for Pathan alongside Shah Rukh Khan where she is set to play a spy.
Coming back to the picture, I sure can’t wait to get more glimpses from this birthday celebration and wish Anisha a happy birthday!
