And nobody understands this better than Janhvi Kapoor who has proven her love for this wardrobe staple on several occasions. Whether she’s heading to spend a quiet evening with her extended family, lounging at home (with style) or promoting her movies, Janhvi looks to a good maxi dress to sort her out, every now and then. In a blue micro-pleated dress:
Spotted at the Maddock Office, Janhvi was seen wearing a balmy, teal dress with micro-pleats and a plunging, sweetheart neckline, making it a perfect pick for a day by the beach. She accessorised her look with medium-sized gold hoops, two stacked bangles and brown heels encrusted with blue studs.
For her makeup, Janhvi kept it neutral with nude lips, a dash of mascara and barely-there blush. As for her hair, Janhvi left her wavy locks open with a centre-parting.
In a retro-esque black dress:
Styled by Mohit Rai, Janhvi turned heads (virtually) in a form-fitting black maxi by David Koma. The strappy number came with sparkly, silved-studded cups and a dramatic thigh-high slit. The actor kept it minimal with her jewellery picks; only accessorising with a few rings. To let the dress steal the spotlight, she opted for a pair of silver strappy heels from Public Desire for a finishing touch.
For her beauty look, makeup artist Hiral Bhatia gave Janhvi a black smokey eye mixed with a bronze shade. Kohl and mascara further enhanced the star’s eyes. Blushed cheeks, nude lips with her tresses left open rounded off her hair and makeup for the occasion.
