FAQS On Manifesting Our Desires—Answered (Part 2)

What would you say if I tell you that you have the ability within you to manifest the life you desire? Amazing, you might say. But exactly how can I manifest my desires, you may think? Worry not, we’ve got you covered.

We recently invited NLP Trainer and Life Coach, Pamela Puja Kirpalani, to host an Ask Me Anything session on Girl Tribe by MissMalini on Facebook. Q. Can you shed some light on the art of visualisation?

Always and ONLY visualise the things that feel good to you. Daydream, daydream, daydream, is what I always say. And only visualise when you are in a good place emotionally. Never visualise when you are either tired or uninspired. It’s very important to remember this.

Q. How do you know if you are manifesting the right energy?

You will know this because you will start seeing signs, like numbers aligning, synchronicities, things working out for you suddenly. You will also know this because you will start to feel good naturally, and may even get goosebumps from time to time when you feel inspired!

Q. I’ve tried manifesting a lot of things, but it never ends up working! Please tell me how to work on this.

There must be something that you are not doing right, like sending out a ‘resistant’ vibration towards those things that you want.

Q. How can manifest a good relationship in my life?

Look out for the things that make you feel good when you’re with someone else. Those qualities are the things you should identify. Secondly, visualise having a relationship with someone and feeling those feelings when you’re with them. The more you do this, the faster you will attract.

Q. What’s a good method to stay consistent with affirmations? Should I maintain a diary or how should I incorporate it into my life?

A great method is to really set it into your morning and evening routine. From the minute you wake up, close your eyes (before looking at your phone or emails or speaking to anyone), and recite them in your mind. Before going to bed, look at them again, because that is when they really become most powerful (nature of our subconscious mind). But remember, there is no point doing affirmations unless you are in a relaxed, feel-good space.

Q. I’ve heard for manifestations to work you have to say them, believe them and then forget about them and let the universe do its magic. I have trouble not constantly thinking about things I want and also thinking “I want” instead of “I have”. Any tips on how to get over this?

I am so happy that you have some background on how manifestations work! You are absolutely right. This is the correct process—identify, release and then keep yourself in a feel-good space to reset your vibrational set point and attract the very thing you want. Don’t worry about saying “I have”, as this goes against the very law, because you know you don’t have it yet, although it IS going to come. But when you try too hard and pretend that you have it already, you are working against the very law because resistance creeps into your vibration. So, just release and let go.
