Ajay Devgn undoubtedly knows how to entertain his audience. In the last two decades since he turned producer with Ajay Devgn Ffilms, he has produced several hits like Bol Bachchan (2012), Son of Sardaar (2012) and Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior (2020). Now, according to a report by MidDay, the actor-producer is teaming up with Siddharth Roy Kapur‘s Roy Kapur Films to co-produce a comedy-satire titled ‘Gobar’.

Ad filmmaker Sabal Shekhawat will be directing the film. The filmmaker will be on double duty as a co-writer with Sambhit Mishra. The report mentions that the satire is set during the ’90s, is inspired by true events and revolves around a peculiar veterinarian who is entangled in a web of corruption in the local state hospital. The confused vet then embarks on a brave journey to fight corruption. Talking about the film, the publication quoted Ajay Devgn as saying, “The story is relatable, funny, and entertaining to the point that I’m confident it will compel people to go to the theatres. We want viewers to laugh, relax and perhaps, think a little [about the rampant corruption],

The hunt for the leading actor is underway and the film is expected to roll by the end of this year.

I am super excited about this one and sure can’t wait to see what the makers have in store for us.
