The beginning of this year was a good one for filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar as he tied the knot with his lady-love, Alicia. This news came as a pleasant surprise to us all as the director/producer never got his personal life into the limelight.
He had shared some lovely images from their low-key but magic wedding and he and his wife looked like they had come straight out of a fairytale. Just today, he shared another beautiful black and white picture of Alicia along with a picture from their wedding as he wished her a happy birthday. In the caption, he shared how much he loved his wife and wrote, “Happy birthday to the universe that keeps me alive .”

Ali had revealed in a previous interview with ETimes that he met Alicia during the filming of ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ and immediately fell in love. Alicia is a an Iranian model based in France and also featured as a background dancer in the song, Slow Motion, from Salman Khan‘s Bharat, which he had directed. He says that after a lot of persuing from his end, she agreed to tie the knot and move to India. They then got married in a very private ceremony in his home in Dehradun.
