There’s a new dance challenge on the block and we absolutely cannot wait for it. The iconic Korean boy band, BTS along with YouTube announced the ‘Permission To Dance‘ challenge yesterday. BTS and YouTube have come up with this challenge that can bring the world to dance along with them to their new song, Permission To Dance. This challenge will be taking place on YouTube Shorts and will be starting from the 23rd of July and will end on 14th of August.

One can participate in the challenge that starts from this Friday with a 15 second YouTube Shorts video. And you can upload the video directly from the YouTube mobile app. All you have to do is replicate the hook steps from the ‘Permission to Dance‘ music video. In the video, the boys can be spotted doing the ‘International Sign’ gesture, which symbolize and mean Joy, Dance and Peace.
The interesting twist of this dance challenge is that the BTS band members will be selecting their favorite YouTube Shorts in a compilation video. The challenge participants must also use the hashtags – #PermissiontoDance and #Shorts for their videos while uploading them on the platform for it to qualify. This is truly such an exciting dance challenge, and we cannot wait to try out. The K-pop band recently hit headlines for topping the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart with the song Permission To Dance. BTS became the second artist to have replaced themselves in the top spot after Drake in 2018. And now with this challenge, they are all set to get the ARMY to be a part of the new song too.
