It’s been over a year post the untimely demise of Sushant Singh Rajput, but the media and public are still mourning the loss and trying to seek justice. Earlier, there were a few reports on the confusion looming over the release of a movie inspired by his case titled, Nyay The Justice, but now all speculations have come to an end as the Delhi HC denied a stay on the film.
Nyay The Justice helmed by Dilip Gulati and produced by Sarla A. Saraogi and Rahul Sharma is all set to have a theatrical release once the Covid situation cools down a wee more. Advocate Vikas Singh battled for an injunction, but ultimately the movie received a green signal for the release. The film will feature Zuber Khan and Shreya Shukla in the lead roles and it will also star veterans like Asrani, Shakti Kapoor and Sudha Chandran in pivotal roles.
When asked about the film, producer Rahul Sharma told IANS-
We believed justice would be served through the system and we are very happy with the verdict. We have always mentioned that this film is not being made to ride on the events and make money, but we wanted the truth to come out and justice to be served.

The makers had to resort to a digital release earlier, but now that the HC has granted permission, the film will release in theatres. I am looking forward to watching this movie, can’t wait to see how they will showcase the story.
