However, these movies do have some flaws, and our birthday girl, Dolly Singh (Yaaas, it’s our queen’s birthday today) has addressed them in her ever-so-hilarious way. We love how Dolly has addressed this major plot twist commonly spotted in most 90’s Bollywood movies. Even though makeovers do add an oomph factor in movie characters but an old friend flirting with you post your ‘glow up’ is a big no-no. Omg, wouldn’t a crossover between Anjali from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Rani from the movie Queen be absolutely amazing?
2. Nandini From Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam
This quirky take of Dolly is totally epic, haina? We love how she has re-imagined Nandini from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam as an influencer and in a way given a crash course in what it is like to be one, hehe. Ngl, we can totally get some of her lines printed on a T-shirt, especially, ‘yeh trends ne meri aatma ko chua hai maa’. This one also goes to say how OTT that scene was.
3. Sweetu From Kal Ho Na Ho
How we wish in a parallel universe, Sameer Sharma from Mohabbatein met Sweetu and let her know his idea of love ‘cuz of course, ‘koi tumko badal ke pyaar kare, toh woh pyaar nahi sauda kare’. Haayye, wouldn’t we all love that? We are totes agreeing with Dolly and we would like to thank her for speaking our minds out loud.
4. Poonam From Vivah
We absolutely love this rendition by Dolly cause momos, chips, and coke, kise nahi chahiye yeh sab? Poonam from Vivah should definitely watch this so she can take notes about other food items to offer beyond Jal, hehe. Let’s all say it out loud, ‘happiness is bringing home food for your partner’, yay.
5. Taani From Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi
Kween Dolly, letting you know exactly what girls want is what we are here for. Only if Taani from Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi was this honest, sigh. Some attention, a few pictures, hugs, compliments, good food, equal pay, do I need to say more? Girls are simple, duh! Dolly, please keep these videos coming in, we love them.
6. Preeti From Kabir Singh
Truer words have never been spoken. We wish Preeti from Kabir Singh had a friend like you, who could open her eyes and make her understand that even if you’re in love, some things aren’t okay and it needs to be addressed. Cheers to you Dolly, say it again louder for the people in the back.
