Bollywood has always offered some great content to its audiences and this has been internationally acknowledged on several occasions as well. However, the curiosity for the West remains in the hearts of many artists as well as viewers. Working in a Hollywood project, following their movie-making techniques has always attracted Bollywood actors. And it’s understandable; any artist would love to try out new platforms for presenting their art. Similarly, even fans tend to be excited about watching Indian stars in a Hollywood setting. And while the world is just coming closer by the day, here are some Bollywood stars from Alia Bhatt, Hrithik Roshan and Sikandar Kher to Ali Fazal, Dhanush, Kubbra Sait and Adarsh Gourav who have impressed Hollywood filmmakers and will soon make us proud with their fantastic performances on an international platform.

Alia Bhatt

Alia Bhatt is said to have recently signed with William Morris Endeavour which is the same agency that manages Hollywood stars like Gal Gadot and Charlize Theron among others. It is a popular opinion that Alia is a born actress and has received a lot of appreciation for her performances in the past. And so, I am sure that her versatility will help her bag the perfect role in Hollywood.

Hrithik Roshan

Considered by many Indians as their very own Greek God, Hrithik Roshan is already set to make his Hollywood debut with an American spy thriller. As per reports, the actor will be seen in a parallel lead role. Meanwhile, he continues to charm his Indian fans with his unbelievable moves, drool-worthy looks and amazing movie choices.

Ali Fazal

Then there is the talented Ali Fazal, who has the Hollywood film Death On The Nile in his kitty. The film is a follow-up to Kenneth Branagh’s Murder On The Orient Express. Featuring Gal Gadot, Annette Bening, Armie Hammer, Leticia Wright, Russell Brand, Rose Leslie and Emma Mackey, both the movies are adaptations of Agatha Christie’s best-seller books. Just the fact that Ali is a part of such a big film makes me oh-so-proud.

Sikandar Kher

Sikandar Kher is another excellent artist who is rather picky about his roles. But what he does, it’s so good that you can’t help but be awed by his performance. He will be soon seen playing a part in Dev Patel‘s directorial debut titled Monkey Man. Known for his choice of unusual roles, I am curious to know what his character will be in this one.

Dhanush

We also have South Indian cinema’s superstar Dhanush who has bagged a role in The Gray Man. Directed by the Avengers duo Anthony and Joe Russo, the action thriller will star Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans. It is based on Mark Greaney’s debut novel and if reports are to be believed, Dhanush might be seen as the head of one of the teams that are trying to corner Ryan Gosling who will play freelance assassin and former CIA operative Court Gentry. Knowing the kind of action-packed roles that Dhanush has taken up in the past, it is fitting that he was offered this part in the movie.

Kubbra Sait

Another powerhouse of talent is Kubbra Sait who will be soon seen in Apple TV’s international mega original series Foundation. This one is based on Isssac Asimov’s series of novels. Foundation will see Kubbra in the role of Phara Keaen, a Grand Huntress from Planet Anacreon. Sounds super exciting right?

Adarsh Gourav

Last but not the least is the young actor Adarsh Gourav who recently bagged a part in Scott Z. BurnsExtrapolations. He will be seen starring alongside veterans like Meryl Streep, Kit Harrington and David Schwimmer. I feel so proud of Adarsh to have achieved international recognition at a young age.

And all these examples make me believe that the world has indeed come way closer and it is no longer impossible to make an impression globally. But these are not the only stars who are being applauded for their work internationally. Superstars like Priyanka Chopra and Irrfan Khan too have created a buzz in Hollywood before this. Now, I just wish that the exchange of talent never stops and keeps increasing so that everyone is exposed to art from different parts of the world.
