It’s always great to watch content that deals with topics that are off-beat and not often dealt with. All set to bring to the audiences the first Indian Original, Lionsgate Play, a Premium over-the-top (OTT) platform will be bringing together artists, writers, creators and storytellers to churn out unique content. The platform will kickstart with a Kunal Kohli directorial series starring Lara Dutta and Prateik Babbar. The series takes the viewers through different themes like falling in love after the acceptable age for marriage, post-separation life, a teenager’s experiences in modern India, and dating post 40.
In an endeavor to provide progressive and edgy shows, the platform’s maiden Indian original shows will be essentially young and novel. The filmmakers of the content on Lionsgate Play have geared up with unheard stories and we are super excited! The line up will also include shows like Feels Like Home which stars millennials like Vishnu Kaushal, Prit Kamani, Anshuman Malhotra and Mihir Ahuja, and U-Special which is directed by Akarsh and Adhaar Khurana. U-Special will see talented actors like Sumeet Vyas, Arjun Mathur, Parambrata Chatterjee, Rukshar Dhillon, Taaruk Raina, Gopal Datt and Ahsaas Channa, among others giving stellar performances.
And on that note, we are super curious to see what Lionsgate Play brings to the audience with its first show which will be released soon. This will be followed by an equally amazing string of releases which will be stories that will break boundaries and trigger social conversations about things that remain undiscussed.
