Ever since the talented Sanjana Sanghi set her foot into Bollywood as a child actor in the 2011 film Rockstar, she has received nothing but praise. Getting the opportunity to debut in a film that is headlined by none other than Ranbir Kapoor is indeed a blessing. So, when Sanjana was recently asked in an interview by ETimes about her equation with the heir of Kapoor clan, she had only great things to say.
As per the report, Sanjana, who completes 10 years in Bollywood today, has been Ranbir’s fan ever since she met him on the set of Rockstar. She spilled the beans on why she connected so well with the Sanju star.
Speaking about Ranbir, Sanjana said:
I am definitely a fan of Ranbir. I became his biggest fan when I met him at Dharamshala on the ‘Rockstar’ set because there was an unbelievable amount of instant comfort, support and encouragement that came from his side throughout. It honestly made me feel like home on sets. We shared the craziest banter, full of sarcasm, which only we understood at that time, and it continues to be the same to this day. I have been in touch; it has been a valuable and special bond.
Sanjana later bagged a lead role in the Late Sushant Singh Rajput‘s 2020 film Dil Bechara and was appreciated a lot for her performance. Before that, she was also seen in Hindi Medium and Fukrey Returns, however, in supporting roles. The pretty lady now has Om: The Battle Within in her kitty. This film will see Aditya Roy Kapoor in the lead role with Sanjana.
Well, now all I wish for is to see the young star sharing screen space with Ranbir again, but this time, in the lead role. She deserves it after all!
