Every update on Ranveer Singh‘s ’83 is just increasing my intrigue and excitement for the film . I can already see that the on-screen cricket team has done a wonderful job, especially Ranveer Singh who is efficiently portraying the legendary cricketer Kapil Dev. I literally had a hard time making out the difference between the two. And now, after taking the fans by storm with the trailer, the makers have dropped the new song from the film, Lehra Do, and it instils the pride of being an Indian within me.

The victory anthem has been sung by Arijit Singh and lyrics for the same are written by Kausar Munir. The video shows a distressed Indian cricket team as they are not making it in the game, however, tides turn and we can see everyone celebrating the long-awaited victory. Arijit’s voice has done the magic as I literally felt each and every word of the song. By the impression that ’83 has left so far, I am totally convinced that the makers have did their best to make it grand.
The film has an ensemble cast of Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Harrdy Sandhu, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Ammy Virk, Pankaj Tripathi, Saqib Saleem, and Boman Irani. Deepika is going to be seen portraying Kapil Dev’s wife Romi Dev. The film is directed by Kabir Khan and is slated to release on 24th December.
The victory of 1983 has been a sentimental aspect for not just the players but also the whole nation, and bringing it to the big screens is a mammoth task. So, I am already looking forward to seeing that historic moment of victory on the big screen and pre-book my ticket for the film and I suggest you do the same.
