I have been quite impressed with Huma Qureshi‘s choices of projects. The actress has had some impactful roles on the big screen. Not everyone is lucky to have projects like Bellbottom, Gangs Of Wasseypur, or Army Of The Dead to their credit. And with the award-winning web series Maharani, Huma has only added another feather to her cap. I loved watching her as Rani Bharti in this political drama on Sony LIV, and now I have learned that Huma is gearing up to treat us with a season 2 of the same.
According to what a source tells me, Huma will begin shooting for season 2 in Bhopal tomorrow and this time it gets bigger.
Talking about the same further, the source said:
Huma’s portrayal of Rani Bharti surprised everyone in the industry and because of that expectations are really high on her this time around. Especially post her winning the Filmfare. And Huma being Huma she’ll not leave a single stone unturned. If sources are to be believed , Season 2 will be as good if not better than the first one.
Well, I am sure that creator Subhash Kapoor will surely live up to expectations with season 2. It will be a 50-day schedule in Bhopal and I am excited for Huma to share some glimpses from the shoot soon.
With Maharani season 1 getting an amazing response and having an interesting premise, I am totally waiting to see what the makers have in store for us in the next season.
