Manoj Bajpayee To Team Up With Sharmila Tagore For The First Time In ‘Gulmohar’

What happens when two maestros of their crafts collaborate together on something? The answer is sheer magic. Manoj Bajpayee is undoubtedly one of the most talented actors to have ever existed in Hindi cinema, and be it comedy, action, drama or thriller, the actor has never failed to impress me in any genre. Whereas Sharmila Tagore is a name that needs no introduction. She has ruled over the industry with her charm and histrionics for decades now, and now these two powerhouses are set to collaborate on screen for the first time.

Taking to his social media, the three times National Award winner and Padmashree Manoj announced that he is collaborating with Tagore on his next project titled Gulmohar, which will also feature the Life Of Pi actor Suraj Sharma.

While much details are not available about the project, it is being backed by Fox Star Studios and is directed by Rahul V Chittella, who is making his big screen debut with the film. He had previously assisted the renowned filmmaker Mira Nair and is also known for his 2016 anthology Shor Se Shuruaat.

It will be the first time that Manoj and Tagore will ever team up for a project and considering the repertoire these two have to their credit, I expect nothing less than a masterpiece from them. Suraj is also currently making waves with his portrayal in the American sitcom How I Met Your Father, and this whole team has just made me quite intrigued and excited about the project.
