Back in 2003, I had my first encounter with teenage romance through Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao‘s Ishq Vishk. Well, I have to admit, it was the coolest thing back then, almost 20 years from now. And I am glad that not only my generation, but even gen-z is all set to witness the charm of modern-day love with Ishq Vishk franchise. Yes, you read that right, Tips films is producing a sequel to Ishq Vishk and it’s called Ishq Vishk Rebound. With the official announcement, the cast of the film has also been revealed. The film will star Rohit Saraf, Pashmina Roshan, Jibraan Khan, and Naila Grewal.
Ishq Vishk Rebound will surely bring to us an upgraded version of romance. The film is slated to release in 2023 and the shooting has already commenced. In fact, watching the promo of the film put me back into the Ishq Vishk charm.

Hello! I don’t know whether it’s just me or if everybody feels this- but It’s almost bittersweet when you actualise a dream you’ve seen for years. Today, for me it is. On the film, producer Ramesh Taurani says,
Taking on a whole different perspective on the Gen Z dating culture, Ishq Vishk Rebound will upgrade our new-age idea of love. The casting for the film is just perfect and we are having a great time shooting for the film.
Directed by Nipun Avinash Dharmadhikari, Ishq Vishk Rebound will be produced by Ramesh Taurani and co-produced by Jaya Taurani under the banner of Tips Films Limited. Well, I am only waiting to see this contemporary college romance soon.
