It’s IIFA time. And while a grand event is taking place for the 22nd edition of the awards in the Yas Islands, Abu Dhabi, last evening we witnessed a spectacular evening with IIFA Rocks. The event was hosted by Farah Khan Kunder and Aparshakti Khurana, and it was quite the treat for music, fashion and entertainment lovers, for, it had some mesmerizing performances in store. But what was also amazing was the starry turnout that was witnessed. Biggest celebrities from Bollywood, namely, Salman Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday, Tiger Shroff, Riteish and Genelia Deshmukh, Divya Khosla Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arjun Rampal and many more were in attendance.

What I loved the most was the performances that took place at IIFA Rocks by Devi Sri Prasad, Tanishk Bagchi, Guru Randhawa, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Neha Kakkar, Zahrah S Khan, Dhvani Bhanushali, Asees Kaur, and Ash King. I must say, Indian cinema was celebrated at its best and every artist managed to touch our hearts with their acts. But other than this, there were also some technical awards that were won and the film’s to win it was Sardar Udham which bagged 3 awards, Sara Ali Khan’s Atrangi Re also won 2 technical awards. Shershaah, Thappad, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, and ’83 also won one award each.
With the amazing, IIFA Rocks evening concluding, we are all geared up to witness the main awards tonight. What we know is that Salman Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and Maniesh Paul are hosting the event. Whereas, Shahid Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Nora Fatehi, Ananya Panday, Abhishek Bachchan and many others have amazing performances. Well, if this is what this year’s IIFA awards look like, I’m excited for the IIFA Awards 2023!
