There is just one day left for the premiere of Bigg Boss 16 and I am counting the houses. The promos starring Salman Khan have already created a lot of curiosity among the audiences. And in a few hours, we will be taken into the Bigg Boss house to experience the madness. Two days ago, the makers of the show introduced the first contestant to the world at a press conference in Mumbai. Tajikistan singer Abdu Rozik has been officially announced as the first contestant who will be entering the show. Similarly, Tina Datta will also be one of the contestants on the show and here’s what you need to know about her.

Tina is known for his character Iccha from the Uttaran serial on ColorsTV. That role gave her recognition and won her many awards. After her stint on this show, her popularity grew immensely not only in India but also abroad.
In 2016 she appeared as a contestant in Khatron Ke Khiladi 7. She was also a part of the horror series Daayan. Apart from that, Tina had appeared in the mythological serial Shani where she played Dhamini.
In 2003, she shared the screen space along with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in filmmaker Riuparno Ghosh’s Chokher Bali. She also got a chance to play young Lalita in Pradeep Sarkat’s Parineeta.

BB16 will premiere on ColorsTV and OTT on October 1. The show will be airing from 9.30 PM and streaming on Voot from 9 PM.
On Saturday and Sunday evening, the makers will telecast the introduction episodes where the final list of guests will be revealed.
