Waking up to the news that has taken the internet by storm is always thrilling, but do you know what’s even better? It is to witness history being recreated, well that’s what happened with SS Rajamouli and the team of RRR last night. The song Naatu Naatu from the film went on to win the 2023 Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song in a motion picture. This is the first time ever that an Asian song has won the award and that is what makes it even more special. At this glorious moment, Jr NTR, Ram Charan, and SS Rajamouli were present at the venue along with the composer MM Keeravani who collected the award. This is indeed a big victory for the film and I honestly feel it’s just the start.

While I sit looking at this glorious moment, I only remember how amazing a craze Naatu Naatu had when the song was first released. And when I watched RRR on the big screen, seeing Naatu Naatu on the 70 mm was actually something. I must say, the film is leaving an impactful mark on the globe, from awards to standing ovations to nominations, it is surely being the success story for many carriers. Just a few days back, we learned that Naatu Naatu has also been nominated for the Oscars and after this victory, I so want to see the team bring home the 95th Academy Award also.
