Karan Johar has always been grilled for one word, which became widely popular after a spat with Kangana on his show. Nepotism ever since has been linked to his name and he is now coming about to address all of it. In a recent trailer launch of Kajol’s new and upcoming show ‘The Trial‘, Gaurav Banerjee the Head of Content for Disney+ Hotstar announced that Karan Johar will be coming to the screens with a show around Nepotism.
Gaurav mentioned how Karan will be back to our screens with not just Koffee With Karan, but also another show titled ‘Showtime’ which will shed light on the topic of Nepotism, and who would be a better fit for a show like this than Karan Johar himself. The announcement of the show was done last year in September by Karan himself, where he said that he will be lifting the curtains on India’s entertainment industry’s biggest trade secrets.
The show sounds extremely exciting and I cannot wait to see what Karan has in store for us. It is without a doubt, going to be one entertaining ride. As for the work front, he has Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani lined up for release which stars Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh. Check out the first look of the film below…
