Parineeti Chopra, last seen in Uuchai alongside Amitabh Bachchan, was widely appreciated for her performance in the film. As per reports in Times Of India, there have been speculations that the actress has quit her much-awaited film Shiddat 2. The first part of the film starred Sunny Kushal and Radhika Madan. Sunny is set to reprise the role of Jaggi but looks like the actress has backed out from the project.
Shiddat 2 was supposed to go on floors in August but has been delayed to October and November due to technical issues. It is due to this schedule change, Parineeti has decided to opt out of the film. It is also said that the actress has two untitled films in the pipeline. Looks like it’s a packed year for Parineeti and whatever project she decides to pick up, I am hoping to see it on the big screen soon. The role is supposed to be replaced by Wamiqa Gabbi, last seen in Jubilee.
While the first part of the film was directed by Kunal Deshmukh, Shiddat 2 is set to be directed by Karan Sharma.
