Suhana Khan who is said to make her debut in Zoya Akhtar’s upcoming film, The Archies, is already gearing up for her second project in Bollywood. This film is with none other than the King of Bollywood – Shah Rukh Khan, who also happens to be her dad. The news came as a pleasant surprise to many when it was first announced. While Suhana has The Archies lined up, Shahrukh has Jawan releasing in September and Dunki, whose release dates are not yet out. As for the director, this action thriller is set to be directed by Sujoy Ghosh.
Sujoy has been onboarded as the director for the film, starring these two Khans and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix, which happens to be Siddharth Anand’s production house. It would be very exciting to see the two work together, as we do not see father-daughter duos taking up the same film. The filming of the movie is set to begin at the end of 2023, probably after Shahrukh wraps up the shoot for Dunki and Suhana’s first film is out on Netflix. After completing her digital debut, this untitled film directed by Sujoy Ghosh will mark her theatrical debut. The casting for this is also in the works and the team is looking at a grand ensemble, apart from Shahrukh and Suhana.
This film will mark another venture with the Pathaan director, Siddharth Anand, as a producer this time around. Apart from this, the actor-director will reunite for one of the biggest films YRFhas to offer, Tiger Vs Pathaan. Stay tuned for more updates of this.
