The movie is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning biography called ‘American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J Robert Oppenheimer’. He spearheaded the Manhattan Project, which played an important role during World War II in developing an atomic bomb. The run time of the film is 3 hours, longer than most Hollywood films. Cillian Murphy recently also revealed that he read the Bhagwat Geeta to prepare for the role in this film. Nolan’s daughter is also set to play a role in the film, he hasn’t revealed much about it though.
