Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor are all set to share the screen for the first time in this Prime Video production, titled, ‘Bawaal’. The film is set up in the backdrop of a war and looks intense from the first look of it. The film is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. This film was earlier set to release in cinemas, but soon later the makers announced that it will released exclusively on Prime Video.

In the first few scenes of the teaser, we see Varun and Janhvi’s characters exchanging sweet glances. Things soon turn sour in the teaser as we hear a voiceover of Janhvi confessing that she took a lot of time to understand their relationship, and by the time she did, it was time to lose it. The duo shares some intense scenes in the film, so much so, that in one instance, Janhvi Kapoor is seen slapping Varun Dhawan The teaser also reads, how every love story has its own war. Towards the end of the teaser, we also see a scene of the two in a gas chamber, and I wonder what could that be about. Is it a way for the makers to show the two suffocating in their relationship, a little extreme representation, however, I must say.
