The audience is in for an absolute treat on next year’s Bakri Eid, as we see two of Bollywood’s biggest stars are set to release their films on the very same day. On one hand, we have Shahid Kapoor, who has a double role in his upcoming untitled comedy film by Anees Bazmee, on the other hand, we have the Kartik Aaryan starrer Chandu Champion directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
Bollywood Hungama was the first to break this news, and later Kartik Aaryn dropped the poster of his sports drama on his Instagram for the Chandu Champion release date. As for Shahid’s comedy film with Anees, there has been no announcement about the same from the actor’s end. The film is said to be to date, Shahid’s biggest commercial comedy film and the excitement of the fans is through the roof. The reason for the two films releasing on the same day is due to the occasion of Bakri Eid, which opens up a lot more opportunities for filmgoers to go and watch the film in the theatres.
