Kartik Aaryan’s new sports drama ‘Chandu Champion’ has had immense buzz ever since Kartik took to Instagram and officially announced his upcoming film. Kabir Khan and Sajid Nadiawala have come together again for yet another sports drama after the appreciation of ’83.’ The team also mentioned the line “A true story of a man who refused to surrender” on the poster. Although Kartik Aaryan posted about this film and revealed the release date, 14th June 2024, he did not mention any cast members.
According to a report from Bollywood Hungama, “Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan are scouting for a leading lady and they are keen on Shraddha Kapoor playing the role. The actress is excited about the project too. As of now, she is the lead in the race. Currently, Sajid and Shraddha are in talks and working out the modalities.” Bollywood Hungama recently reported about how Kabir Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala believe that the film’s title perfectly suits the character’s journey. The movie is expected to be shot within six months and be ready by June 2024. Both Kabir and Sajid are confident that the film will be a significant milestone in their careers.
It will be captivating to see the duo of Shraddha Kapoor and Kartik Aaryan on screen for the first time properly after the cameo of Kartik in Shraddha’s recent film ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar.’ The film has already got me invested and longing for more especially after how I absolutely loved the film ’83.’
