The director is currently working on his film Heeramandi, a Netflix production that stars names like Sonakshi Sinha, Manisha Koiarala, Richa Chadha and more. The director also has another film in the pipeline, a long-time ambitious project that is finally going to see the light of day titled Baiju Bawra. The director however plans to redesign the existing Heeramandi set for his next, Baiju Bawra.
As per Bollywood Hungama, the Heeramandi set in Film City will be reimagined for Baiju Bawra and the work for that is set to begin in September 2023. There has been news that the director has roped in Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt with whom he has worked in the past. Baiju Bawra has been a project that was a long time coming, and to finally see progress on this project is only great news for all Sanjay Leela Bhansali fans, including me.
