Kareena Kapoor is all set to make her OTT debut in the recently announced ‘Jaane Jaan’. The film is directed by Sujoy Ghosh and from the first look of it, seems to be a murder mystery. The film is an adaptation of Japanese author Higashino Keigo’s best-selling 2005 novel The Devotion of Suspect X. Apart from Kareena Kapoor, it also stars Jaideep Ahlawat who plays the role of Kareena’s shy neighbour in the film and Vijay Varma, who essays the role of a cop. The Jaane Jaan trailer gives us a glimpse into this dark story, of a single mother, who has to deal with her ex-husband’s reappearance. She somehow finds a way to get rid of him but finds herself in another fix, as Vijay Varma is now on the lookout for him, and she is his main suspect. She is now forced to entice Vijay’s character to keep herself out of trouble. Will she be able to stay ahead of this investigation and how will she get out of this? We’ll have to wait and watch. Kareena’s acting is top-notch from the first look and I cannot wait to see more of her when the show drops!
