The film tells a heartwarming tale of a couple who devote their time to providing their three-year-old son, diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a life he deserves. Kriti Kulhari who plays the role of the mother in the film Daisy Munshi, is thrilled about her role in this international debut. The film is based on the original life story of the Munshi family, an Indian immigrant family based out of the US. Kriti is also said to meet Daisy Munshi, on whom her character is based.

The makers are from the US but it’s an Indian story. I’m extremely excited to collaborate with a crew from the US and to work in an environment outside of India. I’ll do my best to make it a film that we all are going to be proud of. I was in Houston, Texas in August where my writer-director lives. We met up a few times. We started going through the script scene by scene, totally going into the depths of every scene and getting to know the characters and the tone of the film.
The film is also set to star Jim Sarbh, alongside Kriti in ‘Sach Is Life’ and I cannot wait to catch this film on the big screen!
