‘Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire’ released in theatres on December 22, 2023, just a day after Shah Rukh Khan‘s ‘Dunki’ and has managed to collect a good number at the box office. ‘Salaar’ had surpassed the 175 crores mark in worldwide box office collections on day 1 of its release earning more than Rs 135 crores at the domestic box office. The worldwide weekend collection of ‘Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire‘ amounted to Rs 303 crores including Rs 226 crores collection from India. The Prabhas-starrer film released last Friday and opened with an outstanding collection of Rs 90.7 crores but experienced a 37 percent decline on Saturday collecting Rs 56.35 crores. ‘Salaar’ bounced back on Sunday with more than 13 percent increase reaching Rs 64.07 crores and the power-packed film continues to rule the box office.

Salaar‘ also stars Shruti Haasan, Jagapathu Babu, Bobby Simha, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy and Ramachandra Raju along with Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Written and directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur, the film has been getting positive reviews from the critics as well as the audience.
