A fresh controversy has emerged around Bigg Boss 19 contestant Tanya Mittal after her stylist, Riddhima Sharma, publicly accused the reality-show participant of not clearing her payments and, after the show, ignoring her. On December 10, the allegation became known when Riddhima shared her detailed note on social media, pointing out her grievances.
Tanya Mittal Faces Allegation Of Non-Payment Of Dues
The stylist claimed that Tanya could not have been happier with the outfit, as she even called her to tell her how much she liked it while she was still in the Bigg Boss house, and that she hasn’t contacted her since leaving the show. Riddhima stated that she was always on Tanya’s side to help her with her public image and styling, but she was left hanging in terms of both money and recognition. She also mentioned that she sent a small gift along with a personal note to the contestant, and yet, she did not even get a basic thank-you message in return.
Besides porters’ fees, Riddhima has been footing the bill for other expenses from her own pocket as well, just to make sure that the outfit is duly handed over to the team of Tanya. She said that it was told to her by the team that if the saree was not delivered by the end of the day, she would not be paid at all, and that she found this very unfair after so many days of follow-ups. She also stated that quite a few brands that were associated with Tanya’s wardrobe are still awaiting the delivery of their products.
These accusations are around Tanya’s on-air image, where she was, among other things, seen talking about her luxurious lifestyle repeatedly. During her stay in the house, she was always showing off her designer saree collection and even saying that she brought 800 sarees with her to the Bigg Boss set. She kept saying that she would fly overseas just for desserts, that she was going to travel with a huge number of security personnel, and that she loved it when people called her “Madam.” Many contestants and viewers thus concluded that her personality was a fake one.
The most recent update comes with the end of Bigg Boss 19, which saw Gaurav Khanna, the popular TV actor, winning the title on December 7, 2025, along with the trophy and a 50-lakh prize.
