Yami Gautam Dhar and filmmaker Aditya Dhar are one of Bollywood’s most loved power couples, not only in the glamor world of showbiz but also in their personal lives. Yami, who is being applauded by everyone for her heartrending performance in Haq, Aditya Dhar, on the other hand, has been flying on the success wheel of Dhurandhar, which has become one of the biggest blockbusters in the Hindi film industry in recent times, thus outperforming many big releases.

Before Dhurandhar was shot, Yami Gautam had revealed that she wanted to be in the film for sure. While speaking in an interview, the actor, after reading the script, said that she immediately felt a connection with the world that Aditya had built. She called it one of those handful of scripts that make you think that you are a male and still wish the character to be female, simply because the story is so strong and engaging.

Yami went on to say that if Aditya thinks someone else would do a better job, she would agree with that decision without a doubt. She didn’t appear in the movie Dhurandhar but was mentioned in the credits, where Aditya thanked her for the support. The pair met during the filming of Uri: The Surgical Strike, where their work relationship slowly evolved into a personal one. They got married in 2021 in a secret ceremony. In May 2024, they became parents to a son, Vedavid, starting a new phase in their lives.

Earlier this year, Yami opened up about embracing motherhood and how it has changed her life. She revealed that the experience, while being a flood of emotions, has been overwhelmingly positive and that her life now seems to be filled with constant feelings and memories that are all centered around her child. When asked about the harmony between work and family, Yami remarked that the industry has changed; women can now continue their careers without the need to hide their marriage or motherhood.

She thanked her family, especially her mother and Aditya’s family, for being her pillars of strength. Yami, on her way to inspire others, said that being married and becoming a parent are two of the most deeply satisfying experiences in life, and one should not be afraid to embrace them.
