It has been pouring all weekend in Bombay. Some stayed in, cuddled up with
steaming coffee in front of their TVs and watched the Anna drama unfold in
Delhi. Some braved the rains, downed a couple of shots and hit the dance floor.
Some like me (lucky,lucky me) got to watch Gulzar Saab up-close at Prithvi as he
recited some of his old and new poems.

Last night Delhi-based designer Jaspreet Gulati showcased his Autumn Winter
Collection at  the quaint, delightful Juhu boutique Hauz Khas.

The collection was very high octane glamour with mostly Indo-Western fusion
pieces. The highlight of the collection (and one which the designer proudly
showed me) was a one-piece saree. So now if you want to wear a saree without

Out of the BlueBandra’s popular eating joint, Out Of The Blue opened its Powai outlet last
night and Dhruvi and me were part of the opening night guest list. Unlike the
Bandra outlet which has the charming courtyard, this one is situated on the
first floor of the Haiko Mall in the swanky Hiranandani Gardens of Powai (call
it a personal quirk but I don’t like malls as locations for
restaurants/pubs….but then again in Bombay space is always in short supply.)
