Wow the PR circuit is clearly in overdrive. Even before I could blog about the rumor the clarification has arrived! (Along with this fabulous we’re so in love see? picture.)

“Apparently there have been rumors of a break-up between Bollywood stars Kangna Ranaut and Adhyayan Suman.  Just wanted you to know that this news is completely untrue. The couple will celebrate their first anniversary together soon, are very happy together, and bemused at this speculative report.”

Bemused are they? I’m guessing if the PR is issuing this lightening-fast clarification they’re a little something more than bemused.  But let’s read on;

“ADHYAYAN DID NOT VISIT KANGNA IN HYDERABAD:
This is untrue.  Adhyayan recently visited Kangna while she was shooting in Hyderabad. Infact Kangna, who is petrified of dogs, actually bought a puppy because Adhyayan loves them so much from her director Puri Jagannath. The dog, named Pluto, is living with Kangna, and Adhyayan often stops by to dog-sit, while she’s away, and the couple is looking forward to being together in the city again soon.”

Random thought: It just occurred to me that somehow the fact that the dog has a name makes this more believable.

“LINK UP RUMOURS:
Rumors of Kangna’s link up with Kintaro are completely false, as are link ups of Adhyayan with Shahana and Anjana. All parties mentioned in fact, are in happy stable relationships of their own (Anjana-Rehaan, Shahana-Milind etc.), and good friends with each other.”

Ah, there we go, “good friends” I knew were were missing a cliche. :)

I also got this career update;

“Kangna and Adhyayan were seen together in the hit film Raaz The Mystery Continues where they play an on screen couple.  Kangna has been in Hyderabad shooting for her film Ek Niranjan in which she essays the role of a guitar teacher (not naked) opposite South Indian actor Prabhas, a film directed by Puri Jagannath. She will soon begin shooting for Anees Bazmi’s No Problem in which she is paired opposite Akshay Khanna and plays the younger sister of Sushmita Sen. She will also be seen in Milan Luthria’s film Once Upon a Time in Mumbai opposite Ajay Devgan.

Adhyayan has just been signed by Anand Mahendroo for the remake of the hit serial Dekh Bhai Dekh in which he will play the lead. In the film Adhyayan essays the role of Shekhar Suman’s grown up son, who wants to join the army, and the film is a romantic story. His second film with Vishesh Films, Jashnn is a classic coming of age film, that traces the journey of an aspiring musician. This has him playing the solo lead, and he is paired opposite Anjana Sukhani. Adhyayan is also shooting two additional films this year which are yet to be announced.”

Everybody got that?
